A school author visit serves as a powerful educational and motivational tool, benefiting students, teachers, parents, and the broader school community by promoting a love for reading and writing.

What to expect during an author visit: A reading session from one of my books, a book discussion with book related activity sheet, Q & A session, and book signing.

General Rates:

• School Visits:
  Full day (three sessions, Literacy Night and book signing) -$300 plus travel fee*
  Half day (three sessions and book signing) -$175

• *The travel fee is $30 for every thirty minutes of travel (i.e.: the travel fee to a location that’s an hour from Augusta is $60).

• If out of state, talk with me for quotes on plane travel/overnight stay costs. Discounts possible for multiple visits scheduled in one area.

• Discounts: Schools that host me for an Author Visit will have the opportunity to purchase my books at an exclusive discounted rate.

Writing Workshop Jr.

*NEW! Writing Workshop: The Art of Story Creation Designed for grades 2nd-5th and using one of my books as an example, students explore the writing process (Pre-Writing, Drafting, Revising, Editing & Publishing) and story arc. Groups of students will meet with me in sessions to create their own stories. Optional: Schools can use Student Treasures to publish their books.

• Full day (One grade/three sessions/classes) -$300 plus travel fee*

*The travel fee is $30 for every thirty minutes of travel (i.e.: the travel fee to a location that’s two hours from Augusta, GA is $120).
